Mattie Anne was Jeremy and I's black cocker spaniel that was so full of life. Last night she was hit by a car and she didn't make it. Mattie was the sweetest and most loveable little dog. She was a christmas present from Jeremy's mom about 3 years ago. She was the first pedigree dog I ever had. She was truly one of a kind. Any time someone came to see us Mattie always thought they were there to see her. She would kiss all over them and just talk and pee everywhere, that was just Mattie. We are are missing her so bad. I have had many animals in the past and that I have lost and nothing compares to the loss of our Mattie. Mattie would of been 4 years old in November. She was part of our family. I was really hoping she would grow old with Payton and that would be his dog. Mattie Anne was spoiled rotten and so loved and she knew it. She would get so happy when Jeremy would get home from work and she would here his truck and just start wining to go outside and pee for him. Mattie loved her Jeremy and Jeremy LOVED his Mattie. We are truly going to miss her. She was great with kids and would let them do anything to her. I would love when Mattie would get jealous if Jeremy and I showed any affection to one another. Mattie wanted him all to herself. She had to be right there and in the middle. She would always wind up on my pillow in the middle of the night. That little girl was just like a human being and I will miss her like one. It amazes me how a little animal can mean so much to you and how bad it hurts when something happens to them. She was a beautiful dog with a beautiful personality. May our Mattie Anne (bratty matty, or mat mat) Rest in Peace. We love you Mattie.

I'm so sorry. Mattie was a wonderful dog. Mattie is in doggie heaven.
I'm sorry to hear about Mattie.
wish there was something that I could do to help, But I know that there is nothing but time will help. I'll miss her.
I adored that dog and I want you to know I'm thinking about you....I can't imagine I cried when I read it. You have to remember that All Dogs Go To Heaven!
