Well for starters we are having another little boy. We have decided on naming him Talan. We have a few middle names picked out but, not sure what yet. We are both excited about having another little boy. Payton is super excited about having a little brother. He talks to the baby all the time and tells him he loves him. So sweet! Well Jeremy started his new job. He left Sunday. He is in Kansas right now. Payton and I are planning a trip to see him in October. It is a little harder emotionally then I thought it would be. I don't know if part of it is just hormones or what. Payton is doing okay with it, he tells me his daddy is at work and is going to by him a motorcycle when he gets back! I guess Daddy told him that before he left and payton will hold him to it. My mom took Payton and I to eat at Cracker Barrell and Payton loves to play with the stuff in the gift shop. Well we were waiting on our food and payton asked to go play cars so I took him out there to get him one to play with at the table. When we went out there he picked up two and said " I want to get dad one too" so payton got two of them one for him and one for his daddy!!!!!!!!!!! He loves that daddy!

Movements!!

I think I am starting to feel this little one start to move! That was the one thing I missed the most after I had Payton. I LOVE the way the baby movements feel. I am 17 weeks! I should find out what we are having on the 26th!!!

What's new and recent pictures!

I don't get around to blogging anymore. I am surprised I remembered my login! There is a lot of stuff going on with us. First we are expecting our second baby in late January. Payton tells us he wants a sister. I would love to have a little girl so I can have one of each but, part of me wants another little boy. They are just so fun. I love how they play and boy do they love their mama's! We should find out next month what we are having. Either way we are done after this one! Also Jeremy got a really good job that he starts in September but, the only down fall is he will be out of town quit a bit. I think this will be pretty tough on all of us for awhile. I will be able to quit my job in the fall and stay home with the kiddos for a little bit. I am excited about quitting in the fall because the weather is so nice and I can spend a full 2 months with just Payton before the new baby. I will be able to get some things done at home. On the flip side I am a little torn on quitting and being a stay at home mom. I love the work environment and I have been at my job for almost 5 years. But being a full time mom is probably the most rewarding jobs of them all. If I miss working that much I will just stay home a year and then go back to work. I am sure I will really enjoy it once we all get a new routine down. Payton has a lot of friends down the street. He thinks he has a girlfriend her name is Chloe. She is 2 1/2 also and they are just adorable together. They have to hug each other good night. If one of them hurts themselves then they are right there to help them. It is the sweetest thing I have ever seen. I just love this age. I will try to blog more. We have just been so busy this summer I don't get a chance to think about it. In the meantime I have a few of my favorite pictures of payton! Oh the sharpie picture is what happens when a 2 year old finds one and has himself a good ole time. He was very proud to show mom and dad what he had done. All we could do was laugh.

Boy do they grow up fast

I am sitting at work and realize Payton is almost 2 1/2. I enrolled him in a Mothers Day out program yesterday and that is when it hit me. My baby boy is growing up to be a little boy. Seeing him with all the other kids his own age. Him wanting to be so independent. His teachers are Ms. Chris and Ms. Michele. His first day is next Tuesday and I can't wait. Payton really needs the interaction with other 2 year olds. You can have a small conversation with him now and he speaks so clearly. I love every minute of it. I would post some pictures but, it won't let me. I'll try again later.

3 Year Anniversary and Croup

This week has started out kind of crazy, Around 12:30am Tuesday morning Payton wakes up and sounds like a seal. I knew it was croup cause he had it once before, but if you don't know what it is, it will scare you to death. The first time he had it I thought he was going to have to go to the ER. Croup is painful, so they cough, sneeze, etc they start to cry which makes it ten times worse. Tuesday was Jeremy and I's 3yr. Anniversary and needless to say I totally forgot since I was up with a sick baby since 12:30am. I was running off redbull all day long, I did manage to get a few hours of sleep before Jeremy and I went on our fantastic dinner. He took me to "The Melting Pot" downtown. OH wow that place is wonderful. We had reservations at 6:30 and it took us 2 1/2 hours to finish our 4 course meal. If you haven't been there let me just fill you in on what we had for dinner. Everything is cooked at your table. We got the Spinach artichoke cheese fondue and that is served with apples, bread, and raw celery, carrots, and califlower. Then we got our salad, and then came the meats, We had lobster tail, shrimp, filet mignon, balasmic chicken, pork tenderloin, and ravoli, and I think two other meats. You pick your cooking style and ours was a chicken broth and some spices, with some wine added, mushrooms, and shallots. You also get some veggies and dipping sauces also. Then the best is for last...........the chocolate. Oh that was the best dessert I have ever had. We got the flaming turtle chocolate fondue had carmel, and pecans in it and served with bananas, pineapples, strawberries, pound cake, brownies, cheesecake, and toasted marshmellow. Talk about heaven!! Jeremy and I have went on a diet so this was actually way too much food for us, and we felt like we wasted alot, but it was a nice dinner and we will go back for sure. Great place for a special occasion. You have to have reservations and we told them it was our anniversary so when they sat us they had a anniversary card on our table and signed by all the waiters. All and all we had a great anniversary even though our baby boy wasn't feeling up to par. We were going to cancel and stay home, but my mom told us to go and have a good time and we did, but I was very ready to go home and cuddle with Payton. Long time!

I figured I would make a little update on what we have been doing! Payton is getting so big, he is becoming a real boy! Not so much a baby anymore. I love it. This weekend we went to the lake with Jeremy's dad and little sister and one of her friends. Payton had a blast. He got all excited when he got out of the car and seen the boats he was ready to go. He was not scared of anything! I sure do love that boy. Here are a few pictures. We also have a new nephew, Hastin Paul was born on July 12th! He is a cutie! We have been busy trying to get stuff together with our house so leaves me very little time! I will try to post a little more then I do, but we will see! Here are a few pictures of the lake!
