3 Year Anniversary and Croup

This week has started out kind of crazy, Around 12:30am Tuesday morning Payton wakes up and sounds like a seal. I knew it was croup cause he had it once before, but if you don't know what it is, it will scare you to death. The first time he had it I thought he was going to have to go to the ER. Croup is painful, so they cough, sneeze, etc they start to cry which makes it ten times worse. Tuesday was Jeremy and I's 3yr. Anniversary and needless to say I totally forgot since I was up with a sick baby since 12:30am. I was running off redbull all day long, I did manage to get a few hours of sleep before Jeremy and I went on our fantastic dinner. He took me to "The Melting Pot" downtown. OH wow that place is wonderful. We had reservations at 6:30 and it took us 2 1/2 hours to finish our 4 course meal. If you haven't been there let me just fill you in on what we had for dinner. Everything is cooked at your table. We got the Spinach artichoke cheese fondue and that is served with apples, bread, and raw celery, carrots, and califlower. Then we got our salad, and then came the meats, We had lobster tail, shrimp, filet mignon, balasmic chicken, pork tenderloin, and ravoli, and I think two other meats. You pick your cooking style and ours was a chicken broth and some spices, with some wine added, mushrooms, and shallots. You also get some veggies and dipping sauces also. Then the best is for last...........the chocolate. Oh that was the best dessert I have ever had. We got the flaming turtle chocolate fondue had carmel, and pecans in it and served with bananas, pineapples, strawberries, pound cake, brownies, cheesecake, and toasted marshmellow. Talk about heaven!! Jeremy and I have went on a diet so this was actually way too much food for us, and we felt like we wasted alot, but it was a nice dinner and we will go back for sure. Great place for a special occasion. You have to have reservations and we told them it was our anniversary so when they sat us they had a anniversary card on our table and signed by all the waiters. All and all we had a great anniversary even though our baby boy wasn't feeling up to par. We were going to cancel and stay home, but my mom told us to go and have a good time and we did, but I was very ready to go home and cuddle with Payton. Long time!

I figured I would make a little update on what we have been doing! Payton is getting so big, he is becoming a real boy! Not so much a baby anymore. I love it. This weekend we went to the lake with Jeremy's dad and little sister and one of her friends. Payton had a blast. He got all excited when he got out of the car and seen the boats he was ready to go. He was not scared of anything! I sure do love that boy. Here are a few pictures. We also have a new nephew, Hastin Paul was born on July 12th! He is a cutie! We have been busy trying to get stuff together with our house so leaves me very little time! I will try to post a little more then I do, but we will see! Here are a few pictures of the lake!

Hi!

Payton's new word is Hi! He says it in the cutest way to. He will smile really big and in a low voice say "Hiii" he drags it out a little. Of course he can't say it just once. Payton and I went to a wedding on Saturday and he was pretty good. Soon as it got quite he decided that he wanted to start talking and laughing so we had to go out in the hall! Payton is 18 months today. The time goes so quickly. I love watching him learn so much everyday. I get amazed with him at least once a day. He loves to do stuff with his daddy. Anytime Jeremy is outside Payton has to be his little sidekick. Payton also loves his daddy's nova. Jeremy will set him in the front seat and Payton will pretend he is driving and sit in there for hours! Jeremy and I have been working out some, so at least we don't have to worry about where he is. Update !!!

It has been a long since I have posted anything! Here are our family pictures we took at the end of February. He is almost 16 months old. I can't believe it. He is running all over the place and LOVES to dance. He is our entertainment that's for sure! Payton likes to play ball and play hide and seek. I am so glad spring is coming. This weekend Payton's papa and aunt Lauren came over and we got to go outside and play. Payton rode daddy's 4-wheeler with all of us and when we would get off he would run back over to it and point. He wasn't ready to stop! He will have a blast this summer on the river! Payton has his own little battery operated 4-wheeler, but of course dad's is better!!! Well I will try to post more often. I have been slacking!
