This week has started out kind of crazy, Around 12:30am Tuesday morning Payton wakes up and sounds like a seal. I knew it was croup cause he had it once before, but if you don't know what it is, it will scare you to death. The first time he had it I thought he was going to have to go to the ER. Croup is painful, so they cough, sneeze, etc they start to cry which makes it ten times worse. Tuesday was Jeremy and I's 3yr. Anniversary and needless to say I totally forgot since I was up with a sick baby since 12:30am. I was running off redbull all day long, I did manage to get a few hours of sleep before Jeremy and I went on our fantastic dinner. He took me to "The Melting Pot" downtown. OH wow that place is wonderful. We had reservations at 6:30 and it took us 2 1/2 hours to finish our 4 course meal. If you haven't been there let me just fill you in on what we had for dinner. Everything is cooked at your table. We got the Spinach artichoke cheese fondue and that is served with apples, bread, and raw celery, carrots, and califlower. Then we got our salad, and then came the meats, We had lobster tail, shrimp, filet mignon, balasmic chicken, pork tenderloin, and ravoli, and I think two other meats. You pick your cooking style and ours was a chicken broth and some spices, with some wine added, mushrooms, and shallots. You also get some veggies and dipping sauces also. Then the best is for last...........the chocolate. Oh that was the best dessert I have ever had. We got the flaming turtle chocolate fondue had carmel, and pecans in it and served with bananas, pineapples, strawberries, pound cake, brownies, cheesecake, and toasted marshmellow. Talk about heaven!! Jeremy and I have went on a diet so this was actually way too much food for us, and we felt like we wasted alot, but it was a nice dinner and we will go back for sure. Great place for a special occasion. You have to have reservations and we told them it was our anniversary so when they sat us they had a anniversary card on our table and signed by all the waiters. All and all we had a great anniversary even though our baby boy wasn't feeling up to par. We were going to cancel and stay home, but my mom told us to go and have a good time and we did, but I was very ready to go home and cuddle with Payton. I will leave you with a few cute pic's of Payton.
I love this picture of him.
