Payton is sick

It has been awhile since I posted something new. We really have not had anything too exciting going on. Sunday morning Payton woke up and he started to cough and it just sounded horrible of course being a new mom and all my first reaction is to freak out. We had plans to go over to my cousin's house and watch the daytona 500 and have dinner so we left and Kim and I went to pick up Kaylee and then to CVS to see if there is anything over the counter he could take till I got him in to the Dr. on Monday. He is too young and the only thing I could do was vick's baby vapor rub and lots of water. I was thinking GREAT how and I am going to get this baby to drink lots of water. He don't like it. Well I warmed it up like his bottle and he drank away. YES, he is taking the water well that only lasted a day and he was back to his bitter face as if I gave him something terrible!! He went to the Dr. on Monday and got a decongestant and the good news is that it was not in his lungs. Thank goodness. My Payton is weighing in at 17 lbs and 3 oz. Now that is a big boy. He is only 3 1/2 months old. His daddy was a big baby so that is no surprise there. He is still sounding pretty bad but, still a happy baby and smiling away. He has found his thumb and I will say he is going to be a thumb sucker. I was one when I was little so he comes by it honestly. Well I hope everyone has had a good weekend.

This Weekend

Okay so I know I always talk about the weekends but, during the week it is pretty boring. Friday Jeremy's dad came over and we took him to eat at Harry's American Sports Grill and went back to our house where he could spend some time with Payton. My Best Friend Kenzi is getting married this spring so she asked me to go look at dresses with her on Saturday. I love looking at wedding dresses. It also gives me the insentive to hurry and lose my baby weight so I can get back into my wedding dress!!! I took Payton to my cousin Kim's and Kenzi took J.T. to her grandma's and we went shopping. Mackenzie did not have a good experience looking for gowns. I felt bad for her. We were out for about 4 hours looking at bridal places and she got to try on one dress. The people were just rude. I don't remember it being that hard when I was dress shopping. So after that mess we went to get J.T. and then to go get Payton. Sunday we went and seen our friends Bryan and Amy for awhile and then to Kim and Shanes for the Super Bowl. Payton slept almost the whole time with his cousin Kaylee. I couldn't believe he slept thourgh all yelling and screaming. I have pictures but, of course have not downloaded them yet. I hope everyone had a great weekend.
